Niko is the founder of Peliqan.io, a venture backed data infrastructure company.

Previously, Niko was the cofounder of:

• Blendr.io, an embedded iPaaS integration platform for SaaS companies. Blendr.io was acquired by Qlik in October of 2020. Qlik is a global leader in BI, Data Analytics and Data Integration solutions
• TapCrowd, a mobile apps platform for events. TapCrowd was acquired by Aventri, a leader in event management software
• Oxynade, an event ticketing software company, acquired by SecuTix
• Q-layer, a data virtualization company, acquired by Sun Microsystems / Oracle
• Hostbasket, a hosting provider, acquired by Telenet.

Niko is also the owner of iHub, which provides office space for Startups in the centre of Ghent, Belgium.

Niko is passionate about artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, low-code/no-code and especially the blend of all these technologies. In his free time, you can find Niko baking Neapolitan style pizza, in his Italian wood fired oven. Niko lives near Ghent, Belgium, with his wife and 3 children.
