Jochen is the founder of Torus Capital. He started his career at Hummingbird Ventures where he realized he was of no added value to founders, having no experience as an entrepreneur at all.

Using the small savings he had and a bank loan he invested in 3 startups soon after they were formed and helped them operationally with finance, hiring, sales, marketing.

Engagor was acquired by Qualtrics, Tapcrowd was acquired by Aventri and Blendr was acquired by Qlik.

Jochen also founded Skindr.com.
